And now to the stills:

Carolyn and Eden are dear friends of ours.  They are filled with immeasurable joy and have been given a deep love and compassion for those often overlooked.  Both have a transparency that is quick to show the frailness of our frame, and yet is so hopeful and inviting.  We first met Eden when he just straight up walked into our apartment one day and asked if we went to Reality LA. Fast forward through Chic-fil-A Thanksgivings and other gatherings, we soon met Carolyn, who at the time was finishing her undergraduate at Emory.  The next summer, she finally moved out to LA.  As we got to know Carolyn, she quickly became one of our close friends, and we saw how beautifully God made Eden and her to complement each other.  Eden and Carolyn’s story is a living example of deep, saving grace and a love that binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Wade, Molly, & Katie, Folsom Lake Family Portraits

Meet Wade, Molly, and Katie. They are three lovely siblings who live in Granite Bay, CA, the small town where Lauren and I grew up. I took many classes with Katie throughout high school – including surviving Mr. Stephen’s AP Studio Art class senior year. She is a wonderfully talented artist and has taken a recent interest in photography. We decided to adventure out to Folsom Lake and its beautiful trails during one hot summer evening to take pictures of her younger siblings, Wade and Molly. Molly is involved with our high school’s Cross Country and Track teams (GOOOOO Granite Bay Grizzlies!!!). I remember running on these vary trails when I did XC and Track in High School. Molly proceeded to tell me they actually had a speed workout on these trails that very evening! (Shout out to my old coaches: Pozzi, Kehoe, and Sturgeon!) Wade is a talented musician and needed some photos for his upcoming single he’s about to release on iTunes! Anywhoo, it was an absolute joy hanging with these three. Here are some of my snaps from the evening.
